What RPC is doing:
Sustainability is at the heart of our responsible business strategy. We are committed to reaching net zero across our value chain by 2050, with near-term targets including a 75% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 and ensuring that 80% of our suppliers set net zero targets aligned to a 1.5°C pathway.
Our initiatives:
100% of the electricity used at our London HQ is renewable, and we have achieved ISO14001 certification in both our London and Bristol offices.
We track and report our carbon footprint annually through both a Planet Mark certification and Normative. In 2024, submitted to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) for the first time.
We have joined the Legal Sustainability Alliance and the Sustainable Recruitment Alliance, enabling us to collaborate with peers and reduce the environmental impact of our operations and hiring practices.
Our people are engaged through initiatives such as the Ride2Work scheme, office-based efficiencies, recycling partnerships, employee learning and engagement with our charity partnerships.
From reducing emissions and adopting greener offices, to mobilising volunteers, sustainability at RPC is about embedding environmental responsibility into our day-to-day business. By combining ambitious long-term targets with practical steps, we are working to minimise our footprint while helping our people and clients make a positive impact.
