Are there any opportunities for first year students?
Weil’s two-day, fast track scheme is a fantastic way to gain an insight into the legal profession and understand the work of a trainee at Weil. Perform well on the scheme and you will be automatically interviewed for a vacation scheme. You can apply for a fast-track scheme if you are a first year law student, second year law student on a four year course, or a penultimate year non-law student. Remuneration of £100 per day.
Will I receive a maintenance allowance during my studies?
PGDL and SQE 1 & 2 fees are covered by Weil and future trainees will receive a maintenance grant of £12,000 a year whilst studying.
What kind of benefits does the Firm offer?
In addition to a £500 wellbeing allowance, Weil offers a flexible benefits package which you can tailor to your individual needs. Opportunities include retail vouchers, a tastecard, and the ability to buy or sell up to two days' holiday.
Will I receive money for a first class degree?
Future trainees who achieve a first class degree will receive a one off payment of £500.
