Our undergraduate programme

Combining academic rigour with practical legal skills, in a business-like environment, our LLB provides you with the essential groundwork whether you’re committed to being a lawyer or want to explore other career options.

A law degree is an excellent starting point for a career in law which offers a greater diversity and range of work than almost any other profession: solicitor, barrister, legal executive, judge, paralegal, conveyancer.

If you don’t want a career in law, a law degree is still one of the best qualifications to go on and succeed in other sectors, such as journalism, politics, HR, finance and accountancy, the civil service and general management.

We offer full-time, accelerated, part-time, or online, study options on our undergraduate law degree programmes. They are all Qualifying Law Degrees and all have the same learning outcomes. Use the expandable sections below to learn more about your preferred route.

Full-time

Our LLB (Hons) Law is very different to a traditional three-year law degree. It’s designed to be the most relevant and rounded degree-level education available to help you achieve your career ambitions – the first truly professional three-year undergraduate law degree.

Law with Business

Our LLB (Hons) Law with Business three-year qualifying law degree is designed to give you the skills and knowledge to gain a wide understanding across a range of legal areas, which are necessary to obtain a qualifying law degree as well the business acumen to make your employment ready in the business world.

Accelerated

Our LLB (Hons) Law two-year Accelerated is designed to get you to the next stage of your professional training as a lawyer or start your career as quickly as possible, without compromising on quality.

It’s a faster more intensive route, taught by the same tutors and using the same high-quality teaching methods as our three-year law degree.

Part-time

Our four-year part-time, LLB (Hons) Law degree is designed to give you flexibility through a structured programme of online learning combined with attending a University centre throughout your course.

You’ll receive a high level of individual tutor support and feedback, both face-to-face in workshops and through online webinars.

i-LLB

Our i-LLB is a four-year part-time course designed for students who want to complete their degree solely online.

There is no face-to face tuition on this programme so it is particularly suitable for students who cannot commit to studying at one of our centres and require the flexibility of fitting studies around your lifestyle.

There is still a high level of interaction and students receive peer and one-to-one professional tutor review and feedback.
