LLM SQE1&2
Our LLM SQE1&2 course will prepare you for the SQE1 and SQE2 assessments, as well as building the additional specialist knowledge you need for a career in legal practice. This complete course includes:
SQE1 Preparation
Our SQE1 Preparation module focuses on key legal practice areas that are examined in both stages of the SQE assessments. It includes materials and revision opportunities for the core areas of law from your previous studies.
SQE2 Training
This module builds on the foundations laid in the SQE1 Preparation module and prepares you for the SQE2 assessments. It offers extensive diagnostic testing and practice of SQE2 skills tasks across all of the featured SQE legal contexts. This module also includes live intensive coaching workshops that simulate the SQE2 exam experience, with personalised feedback to help you build a personal development plan for exam success.
Essentials for Practice
This module has been informed by research and collaboration with some of the UK’s leading law firms and legal services employers, offering a range of specialist legal knowledge areas and professional skills that are widely sought by employers beyond the basic SQE curriculum.
You will choose a pathway dependent on the type of clients you want to act for and the areas of legal practice that align with your career aspirations. You will also study an additional Business of Law module which is focussed on developing your understanding of the role of technology in the delivery of legal services.
Also, in collaboration with The O Shaped Lawyer™, you will be introduced to the O Shaped 5 Os and 12 Attributes and will consider how these are relevant in practical real-world legal case studies. Using a reflective portfolio, students will start their own personal journey towards being client and people-centric, developing strong foundations for the growth mindset needed to thrive in today’s legal services market.
