In a profession built on long hours, fast-paced deadlines, and high-pressure expectations, how can disabled and neurodivergent lawyers not only survive - but thrive?

This panel brings together lawyers and diversity specialists to explore how disability and neurodiversity intersect with law firm culture, performance expectations, and access to opportunities. The discussion will focus on the reality of navigating adjustments, managing disclosure, and advocating for support while building a successful legal career.

From overcoming assumptions and internalised stigma, to working in environments that weren’t designed with inclusivity in mind, our panellists will speak candidly about their experiences - and how they’ve built resilience, community, and successful careers on their own terms.

This event is especially for aspiring lawyers with physical disabilities, long-term health conditions, learning differences, mental health needs, or neurodivergent identities - and for anyone who wants to become a more inclusive colleague and advocate.
