The firm’s dedication to minimising their environmental impact is a commitment across their offices. For example, their New York, Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, Milan and Frankfurt offices are environmentally certified for sustainable design.

London, their largest office, is powered through a renewable electricity contract. WFW’s ‘Paper light’ policy has seen their London office reduce paper consumption by 75% in the last 5 years.

The firm is implementing an ISO-accredited Environmental Management System complemented by a global Environmental Charter to minimise their environmental impact and enabling them to set credible decarbonisation targets for their firm

WFW are committed to conducting the majority of their selection and assessment processes virtually to reduce the carbon footprint associated with travelling to face-to-face events. Some examples of this include:

  • Conducting assessment centres online
  • Sending all offer paperwork and contractual documents via the online platform DocuSign
  • Making the decision to not produce any more paper-based marketing materials
  • Committing to using firm merchandise that is sustainable and that has a distinct purpose such as passport covers and travel adaptors
  • Reducing the number of in-person events and fairs that they are attending. Instead, the firm are focusing on attending targeted hybrid and virtual events to ensure that they till reach and interact with as many candidates as possible
