Although this can sound nerve-racking, you’ll receive plenty of support from the firm. Trainees work in small teams, receiving support and guidance from associates and partners. You’ll flourish under first-class training and supervision, and the firm’s small trainee intake means you’ll feel like a valued member of the team. One junior lawyer noted that ‘your ideas and thoughts on cases are taken seriously’
Trainees complete four, six-month seats, across any of the firm’s practice areas. Trainees also receive plenty of support when it comes to developing professional skills, with Milbank offering communication, career management and presentation support. A past trainee said that Milbank provides ‘an exceptional level of expertise and support’.
