Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP have just announced that their summer vacation schemes based in the London office will proceed this year on schedule, but they will instead be delivered remotely.

The international law firm will host four virtual vacation schemes, each one lasting a week.

David Herlihy, Skadden's Graduate Recruitment Partner, said: "Our teams have worked creatively to ensure that the schemes will continue to provide a meaningful opportunity for candidates to learn more about our firm, people, culture and work. We are committed to keeping our talent pipeline strong."

With 22 offices, approximately 1,700 lawyers and more than 50 practice areas, Skadden advises businesses, financial institutions and governmental entities across the world.

According to the firm's website, the majority of Skadden’s training contracts in their London office are offered to vacation scheme students, so this will come as very welcome news for the successful applicants who have already been offered a place on this summer's vacation scheme.
