University of Law announces new partnership

The University of Law and the University of Reading have struck up a new partnership which is designed to support a new generation of professionals in the legal sphere. 

The University of Law (ULaw) has begun a joint initiative with the University of Reading which will focus on the provision of postgraduate legal training courses.

As part of the relationship, ULaw will offer postgraduate courses, focused on practice-based training, at the University of Reading’s London Road campus. From September 2017, ULaw’s Legal Practice Course (LPC) will be available as a full-time study option for students with a law degree who wish to practise as a solicitor, and who want to continue their studies at the Berkshire institution. 

On top of this the ULaw Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) will also be available at the University of Reading from September 2018 onwards as a full-time study option for those graduates who have not studied law but who wish to take a legal career path and progress towards the LPC or BPTC.

University of Reading students enrolling on ULaw’s LPC or GDL will be supported by the full ULaw offering. This includes access to its award-winning pro bono service and committed Careers and Employability service, highlighted by a strong track record of 97% of ULaw’s full-time LPC graduates gaining employment within 9 months of graduation.
