The University of Law has announced Professor Andrea Nollent to the post of Provost. She will take up the post on 1 September 2014.
Professor Nollent was educated at Dundee and Durham before starting her academic career at Sheffield Hallam University, where she was Head of the Law School. Nollent was also Dean of Nottingham Law School at Nottingham Trent University from 2010.
Professor Nollent has focussed on the development of academic and professional courses throughout her career and has secured the growth of both domestic and international markets. She has also worked to enhance the quality of student experience.
Nollent is “delighted to join the University and lead future innovation in its academic strategy” and hopes “to secure the highest quality student experience closely aligned to the needs of employers in a rapidly changing global market.”
