The international law firm have announced it will now offer an Advanced Apprenticeship in Legal Services in collaboration with legal training provider CILEx (Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) Law School.
The first intake of apprentices with the firm will begin their in-office training and studies at the Manchester office in September 2014. The school leavers will be able to qualify in either civic litigation or personal injury.
Clyde & Co’s Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship scheme will be an A-level equivalent. The apprentices will receive a salary as they develop their legal knowledge and legal practice skills via a mixture of academic study and real work in the Clyde & Co office. There will be exams and assessments to pass in order to obtain the qualification. They’ll get a supervisor and mentor to support them through the course of the programme too!
The two-year programme puts those who pass on course for further study to become a Chartered Legal Executive. Legal Executives can carry out many of the same tasks as a solicitor.
