Legal Practice Course (LPC)

If you’re looking to become a solicitor, our Legal Practice Course (LPC) gives you the knowledge and skills to secure a training contract and succeed in practice. Please note that this is suited to those who started their qualifying law degree or law conversion course on or before 31 December 2021 and wish to qualify through the law LPC route.

Your LPC Career Guarantee.

If you don’t secure a training contract within six months of passing the LPC, our Career Guarantee means you’ll be able to study either our SQE2 Preparation course or Career Boost package. This includes additional courses which will develop your employability further with negotiation, influencing and networking skills, free of charge.

Need postgraduate funding? Upgrade to our LLM Legal Practice Course

If you opt for our Master’s option, you’ll study all the modules for the LPC plus an additional two modules: Law Review and Reform and Negotiation and Case Analysis. This course qualifies for postgraduate loan funding.


Entry Requirements

The entry requirements to study the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at BPP University Law School are as follows:

·      Qualifying law degree minimum 2.2 or above

·      Non-law degree minimum 2.2 or above and a PGDL, GDL, CPE, or similar qualification such as CILEx

Postgraduate Loan Funding

This course does not qualify for postgraduate loan funding. You can upgrade to our LLM Legal Practice Course, which is eligible for postgraduate loan funding of £12,167 from Student Finance England.
