Diversity at Willkie

For 30 years, the firm has had a Diversity and Inclusion Committee, which lawyers and business service staff are encouraged to join. The committee regularly hosts external speakers for their popular Diversity Speaker Series, with past speakers including Dr Angela-Neal Barnett, Michelle Silverthorn and Dr Tyrone Howard. Topics include: handling the impact of racism, building an inclusive workplace and how to talk to your children about race and racism.

The firm remain passionate about recruiting a diverse workforce, and confirmed their support of the #10000BlackInterns initiative. The initiative is designed to support young black people in the UK achieve their career goals, by providing paid internships, mentoring, training and development. Wilkie are preparing to welcome their first intern in 2022.
