Goodwin’s Vacation Scheme provides a real insight into what it is like to train and work at the firm. The 2027 Vacation Scheme will run from 5 to 16 April 2027.
Our Vacation Schemes provide real insight into what it is like to train and work at Goodwin while giving you the opportunity to get to know us and our colleagues better. You will witness first-hand the work we do for our clients by shadowing partners and associates, attending meetings, and getting involved in real work for departments.
The Vacation Scheme is Goodwin’s primary route into the Trainee Solicitor Programme. All candidates are automatically considered for a trainee position.
What will you learn?
Meaningful in-department experience, exposure to Goodwin’s practice and industry groups, support from an associate supervisor and trainee buddy, structured skills and insight sessions, networking opportunities and automatic consideration for the Trainee Solicitor Programme.
Applications are reviewed after the closing date. Candidates who progress will be invited to complete an asynchronous video interview. If successful through that stage, candidates will progress to an in-person assessment centre. Successful candidates will receive an offer to attend the Vacation Scheme, where assessment for the Trainee Solicitor Programme continues.
