Lift Off 2027

For those in their penultimate year and onwards looking to secure a vacation scheme.

- Build an understanding of a law firm’s economics and how to develop your commercial awareness
- Gain insight into how we innovate for our clients through legal case studies
- Find out more about our assessment process and secure an automatic place on a spring or summer vacation scheme

Please note that if you apply for Lift Off your application will automatically be considered for our spring or summer vacation scheme. There is no need to submit a separate vacation scheme application. If you secure a place on the programme, you will be fast tracked to a spring or summer vacation scheme.

Eligible candidates are then invited to complete an online immersive assessment, where they will undertake a  critical reasoning test, a proofreading test, and a behavioural skills assessment. Candidates who successfully pass this stage will then complete a job simulation assessment, which consists of behavioural skills questions and a series of written and video interview questions. Following this, the Early Careers Team will review the applications and shortlist successful candidates to be invited on to the programme.

Eligibility

- Penultimate year onwards

- Law and non-law

- 2:1 minimum degree

- AAB at A-Level

We look for a minimum of AAB at A’ level (or equivalent) and a 2.1 (predicted or achieved) at degree level.  Lift Off is open to penultimate year students and onwards, who are looking to secure a spring or summer vacation scheme.
