The Virtual Law Fair explained
The Virtual Law Fair is taking place on Monday 26th October-Friday 30th October. There are different aspects to the Virtual Law Fair that you need to understand before you attend.
Sign up to the Virtual Law Fair
First and foremost, you need to sign up to the Virtual Law Fair here.
By signing up, you will receive all of the necessary information over email prior to the event, as this will be AllAboutLaw’s primary method of communication.
Attend on the correct day
Although the Virtual Law Fair is taking place throughout the week, AllAboutLaw has curated content for different groups of students on particular days. Law firms are also expecting to interact with certain groups of students on particular days too:
Monday 26th October - first-year students
Tuesday 27th October - non-Russell Group university students
Wednesday 28th October - Russell Group university students
Thursday 29th October - Diversity & Inclusion
Friday 30th October - non-law students

Each day at the Virtual Law Fair follows the same timetable.
- 10am-11am - Introduction to the Virtual Law Fair; Keynote Presentations; One-to-One meetings
- 11am-12.30pm - Virtual Exhibition Hall & Virtual Stand Presentations
- 12.30pm-2pm - Lunch
- 2pm-3.30pm - Virtual Exhibition Hall & Virtual Stand Presentations
- 3.30pm-5pm - Keynote Presentations & discussion video chats; One-to-One meetings
Introduction to the Virtual Law Fair
Be sure to watch the video introducing the Virtual Law Fair a few minutes before 10am so you know what to expect!
Keynote Presentations & Workshops
AllAboutLaw has curated an extensive range of keynote presentations and workshops for you to view at the Virtual Law Fair. These are designed to introduce you to a specific topic related to law or legal careers and are presented by experts in their field.
These presentations will be taking place between 10am-11am and 3.30pm-5pm each day. To reserve your place at a Keynote Presentation go to Workshops & Presentations > Keynote Sessions and click the purple ‘+’ box in the top right corner of each talk.
This will add the Keynote Session to your agenda, which you can view by clicking on Workshops & Presentations > My Agenda. At the start time, go to the event and click ‘Join’ or watch the video that has been released.
Virtual Exhibition Hall
There are 465 of the leading commercial law firms in the UK exhibiting at the Virtual Law Fair. At 11am-12.30pm and 2pm-3.30pm each day, the Virtual Exhibition Hall will be open, allowing you to visit firms’ stands and interact with their graduate recruitment team and solicitors.
To visit a stand click on Exhibitors > Virtual Exhibition Hall. Click into the firms of your choice and when you’re ready to interact, click ‘Enter Virtual Tradeshow Booth’.
Don’t forget to let firms know that you are interested in their opportunities. You can do this automatically by clicking ‘Request Information’ and clicking ‘Send’. You do not need to include a message.
Virtual Stand Presentations
Throughout each day, some law firms will be presenting on a range of topics. This is your opportunity to learn more about your favourite firms and get the latest information and insight to help you secure a vacation scheme or training contract.
These sessions will also take place 11am-12.30pm and 2pm-3.30pm each day. To reserve your place at these sessions, go to Workshops & Presentations > Full Agenda and click the purple ‘+’ box in the top right corner of each talk. At the start time, go to the event and click ‘Join’ or watch the video that has been released.
