Who we look for
As a global law firm, we tackle some of the most complex legal and commercial issues for our clients. So we look to recruit smart, collaborative and determined individuals from all kinds of backgrounds and with all kinds of experience. A strong academic record is important: you should have, or be on track for, a good 2:1 or above in your degree. You must also be the kind of person who adapts well to new situations, delivers on their promises and has the creativity to take ideas in new directions. Above all, you must be able to work well with others and build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
When and how to apply
The application window for training contracts for non-law students and graduates is open between 14 September 2020 and closes on 31 January 2021. Applications for law students reopen on 1 June 201 and must be submitted by 31 July 2021.
Our summer vacation schemes are open to all penultimate and final-year students, as well as graduates. And we'll accept applications from 14 September 2020 until 3 January 2021.
The winter vacation scheme is for penultimate, final-year students, as well as graduates. The application window opens 14 September 2020 and closes 31 October 2020.
Insight events are scheduled for 16 April 2021 (virtual academy), 16 – 17 June 2021 and 18 – 19 August 2021. To be considered for these, you must be in your first year of study and submit your application between 1 January 2021 and 28 February 2021.
