Spring and Summer Vacation Schemes 2027

Our Spring and Summer Vacation Schemes are open to penultimate-year students, final year students, graduates, post-graduates, career changers.

Key dates:

Spring Vacation Scheme: 22 March – 1 April (inclusive)

Summer Vacation Scheme: 21 June – 2 July (inclusive)

We will allocate you to a scheme at the offer stage when taking your individual circumstances into account.

If you are successful in gaining a vacation scheme place, you will be considered for a training contract. We are currently recruiting for training contracts starting in September 2028 and September 2029.

You will be paid £750 per week to cover your expenses.

Each scheme runs for two-weeks and are designed to give you a genuine insight into who we are, what we do, and what life as a trainee at the firm looks like. Throughout the scheme, you will take part in practice area talks, training sessions, networking events, and social events with our lawyers.

The schemes offer an opportunity to develop practical and long-lasting skills. You will work alongside industry-leading experts on matters for some of the world's most prominent clients. You will sit in two different practice groups, giving you the chance to experience two distinct areas of Willkie London.
