On a vacation scheme, how you explain your thinking matters as much as the answer itself. This practical session looks at what happens when you’re put on the spot. A partner might question your recommendation, an associate might doubt an issue you’ve spotted, or a team meeting might move on before you’ve made your point. You’ll learn three techniques: asking clarifying questions, leading with your main point and responding constructively. You’ll then use them in three live scenarios, with feedback from Sophie Shaw.
