Ultimate Law Guide to Host Careers Conference

Careers advice provider Ultimate Law Guide is hosting a conference on 11 July 2014 to help trainees and students learn more about the skills needed to succeed in the legal sector.
The Developing into Ultimate Lawyers conference will feature advice from partners, solicitors and trainees to help budding lawyers enhance their prospects of landing a training contract and assist them with every stage of the process. The conference also aims to provide an understanding of how to demonstrate commercial awareness and develop professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
Professor Richard Susskind will deliver an address on what future holds for lawyers entering the ever-changing profession. Other speakers include Solomon Wifa, managing partner at O’Melveny & Myers, Kristin McFetridge, Chief Counsel at BT Legal, and Ann Silla, Legal Counsel at The Economist.
Craig Robinson, CEO and founder of Ultimate Law Guide, said, “The odds of making your way in to the law and then up through the ranks are not in your favour unless you take control of your career from the outset, and at every step of the career path. Ultimate Law Guide’s career conference is designed to help students and trainee lawyers do this to the best of their ability.”
The conference will take place at Birkbeck, University of London, and tickets are priced at £50, though attendees can snap up £25 priced tickets for a limited time. Places can be booked directly at www.Ultimatelawguide.com.
