Pinsent Masons nominated for Employer of the Year

International law firm Pinsent Masons have been nominated for VQ Employer of the Year in the Large Employer category for England. This is in recognition of the support they provide to its employees who are undertaking vocational qualifications (VQs).

Pinsent Masons have supported more than 50 of their employees in vocational qualifications over the past five years. The firm provide both financial and professional support, even if the qualifications are not directly related to the employees’ job role. Pinsent Masons have created an ‘academy’ in the hope that staff are motivated to exceed expectations in the business world.

Pinsent Masons is one of five businesses nominated and the winner will be announced on 3 June 2014. They said: “We're absolutely delighted that our investment in employees taking up vocational education has been recognised in this year's VQ Employer of the Year Awards.
