The Black Solicitors Network Diversity League Table has been published, with national firm Matthew Arnold & Baldwin taking the top spot.
The firm has offices in London and Watford and came top of the overall diversity league table, which is a combination of a firm’s position in two other league tables; ‘policy and practice’ and ‘demographic’.
41 firms took part, with the smaller firms dominating the demographic diversity rankings. International firm Fasken Martineau came top of the ‘demographic’ diversity table due to their top-five finish in every table but the one that ranked gender diversity at partner level. All of Fasken Martineau’s trainees are from an ethnic minority background. 37.5% of the firm’s associates are from an ethnic minority background.
O’Melveny & Myers took the top spot for number of ethnic minority partners, with Matrix Chambers top in the overall diversity league table for chambers.
