About our training contract

At Burges Salmon, you don’t have to choose between top quality work and quality of life, high profile clients or first-class training – you can have it all.

As a trainee you will gain exposure to an extensive range of work from the very beginning of their career with seat opportunities ranging from banking and real estate to dispute resolution and private client.

While traditional training contracts offer four seat rotations, our six seat approach is designed to provide you with a greater range of experience allowing you to become an expert in many fields. This approach builds confidence, commercial awareness and adaptability from the outset.

As an undergraduate you can apply from (and any time after) your penultimate year as a law student or final year as a non-law student.  We also welcome applications from graduates and those considering a change in career.
