Ashfords Training Contract
Ashfords is a national provider of legal, professional and regulatory services. We combine legal expertise, commercial experience and our wider network to help our clients achieve their goals, providing value for time and value for money.
Our recruitment process tests for the fundamental skills that all good lawyers should have. But we're looking for that little bit more - it’s our people who sell our firm, so we want to recruit well-rounded trainees, who demonstrate our values.
During your training contract you will have the opportunity to experience four areas of law, spending six months immersing yourself in the work of each of those four departments.
Our trainees experience real work and are very much part of the team – you go to meetings, attend court, engage with our clients and understand the cases you are working on. We believe there's no better way to learn than by experience, and it provides an excellent start to your legal career.
Trainee Solicitor (Assessment Centre)
For those who want to apply directly for a training contract without attending the Summer Scheme, there is the Assessment Centre option.
The Assessment Centre consists of three main elements:
· Written exercise,
· 1-2-1 roleplay,
· Partner interview
