Ashfords Training Contract

Can you negotiate?  Work under pressure?  Naturally our recruitment process tests for these fundamental skills that all good lawyers should have. But we're looking for that little bit more - it’s people who sell our firm, so we want to recruit trainees with rounded personalities, and who demonstrate our values.

During your training contract  you will have the opportunity to experience four areas of law, spending six months immersing yourself in the work of each of those four departments.

Our trainees experience real work and are very much part of the team – you go to meetings , court, meet our clients and understand the cases you are working on. We believe there's no better way to learn than by experience, and it provides an excellent start to your legal career.

You will complete your PSC courses in your first year and receive regular training in Legal and Business skills through our award winning learning and development function - Ashfords Academy.

Trainee Solicitor (assessment centre)

For those who want to apply directly for a training contract without attending the summer scheme, there is the assessment centre option.
