Description of the firm
We are Hogan Lovells: one of the world’s largest and most established global law firms. In 48 locations across 26 countries, our game-changing lawyers solve some of the legal industry’s toughest problems. We’re well-known among our clients for our deep industry sector expertise, and among our people for our open, supportive and diverse culture. In everything we do, we work seamlessly as one team across continents, borders and time zones.
Types of work
Our global reach and unified way of working bring us exciting, headline-grabbing legal projects which help our prestigious clients look to the future and become ever more innovative. Our range of practice areas also makes us stand out as a firm. It includes corporate, finance, global regulatory, intellectual property and litigation. The sheer breadth of opportunity here encourages our lawyers to grow their legal expertise, sharpen their commercial edge and discover a career path that’s personal to them.
As a Hogan Lovells campus ambassador, you’ll promote our graduate offering to other aspiring lawyers at your university. Working closely with our graduate recruitment team and external marketing agency, you'll plan, advertise and run our wide range of campus competitions, presentations, workshops and other campus events, and help us run our social media campaign.
In the process, you'll gain valuable insights into who we are as a firm, the distinctive work we do and how we hire trainees. As well as a full induction before you start, you’ll get regular support and contact from graduate recruitment. The pay – £600 – is pretty good too. What’s more, you'll have the chance to engage with some of our people – from trainees to partners – early on, which could stand you in good stead when you come to apply for a training contract further down the line.
