We offer our trainees a genuinely global training contract with all trainees having the opportunity to spend at least six months of their training working abroad (wider circumstances permitting).
Our vacation schemes are open to penultimate year law students, final year law and non-law students and graduates. Completing a vacation scheme is an ideal opportunity to find out more about the firm and our industry sectors.
Vacation scheme participants are allocated a current Trainee as a "buddy" and are provided with opportunities to gain practical experience working on live matters. You will also attend a programme of talks and workshops designed to broaden your understanding of the firm's industry sectors and the work that we do.
Vacation schemes are an integral part of our recruitment process for Trainees and every vacation scheme participant has the opportunity to attend a final round interview for a training contract. We have an excellent track record of making training contract offers to vacation scheme participants – in past years we have recruited the majority of our Trainees through the vacation scheme route.
Every year we run one Spring and two-three Summer vacation schemes. We ran our 2020 and 2021 vacation schemes remotely. We are planning to run our 2022 vacation schemes in the office if we can.
Applications for vacations schemes open on 1 October and close on 31 January. The recruitment process consists of an online application, followed by the assessment centre. We fill our vacation schemes on a rolling basis.
