Each Trainee who joins us is guaranteed an outstanding training contract. You will do interesting, stretching work, very often with an international element. During your training you will have four six-month seats, sitting with a Partner or a Senior Associate. All Trainees should expect to spend time in one of our overseas offices, or to be seconded to a client.
We ensure that you keep your IT and research skills up to date, and you will receive training in presentation skills. You will participate in our regular seminar programme for clients. You will have clear, regular Partner guidance and feedback, as well as assessment meetings with graduate recruitment every three months to discuss your progress.
If we offer you a training contract and you have not completed the LPC, you will study at Kaplan alongside other HFW Trainees. You will study electives that mirror our business areas and will have regular contact with the firm during your studies. You will also have a HFW Trainee buddy (a current Trainee) who will be your point of contact up until you join us. Our aim is to ensure that pre-Trainees feel a part of the firm, right from the point that they accept an offer with us; not just from the day that they commence the training contract.
Our salaries are highly competitive. Trainees receive an annual salary of £37,000, increasing to £39,000 after the first year of the training contract plus benefits.
