The team teach using a variety of approaches, including large lectures, small group seminars and workshops, with an emphasis on critically discussing and understanding the law.

Lecturers ensure you develop an in-depth and critical understanding of the law. Course content reflects current leading research and legal practice – addressing traditional legal subjects such as criminal law and contract law, and more specialist subjects such as media and sports law, animal rights law, environmental law, plus innovative modules in FinTech law.

Recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority as ‘Qualifying Law Degrees’ for 2021 entrants, all our law degrees also cover the foundations of legal knowledge required by the Bar Standards Board to satisfy the academic stage of training for barristers.

Our foundations of legal knowledge modules are also aligned with the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE), providing a solid base for you to prepare for SQE1 should you wish to qualify on the new solicitor’s route.
