Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL)

The GDL is a conversion course for non-law graduates who wish to qualify as a solicitor or barrister. Successful completion of the course allows candidates to proceed to the LPC or BPTC. Our GDL is available either full-time or by distance learning. Our course is noted for its student support and extensive pro bono opportunities which are available through our Legal Advice Centre.

Students who successfully complete this course are guaranteed a place on Nottingham Law School's excellent-rated LLM Legal Practice Course (LLM LPC). You can also apply for our acclaimed Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) .
