Designed for those working in the justice, social and consumer sectors, this course also supports a career change to a solicitor or barrister, supporting your development of transferable skills in critical thinking, analysis and communication that you can use throughout your career.

Recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board. Modules are aligned with the new UK Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE), and include opportunities to obtain the required qualifying work experience. This includes the opportunity to provide free legal advice to members of the community, under the guidance of qualified solicitors, through our pro-bono Brighton Legal Clinic.

As this course is recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board you will be in a good position to embark on a legal career upon graduating. But, good communication, problem-solving, analytical and research skills developed during your law degree are also relevant to many careers such as banking, insurance and Civil Service.
