Universities pull out of GDL market
- 20th July 2011
Several universities have pulled out of the GDL market on the back of dwindling enrolment numbers. In much the same trend as the recent drop in LPC numbers, the General Diploma in Law seems to be following the same path.
Sunderland University, Southampton Solent and the University of East London have all recently cancelled their GDL courses, with all citing similar reasons. Despite the emerging trend of universities dropping out of the GDL market, it was recently announced however that the University of Cardiff plans to provide the GDL course beginning September 2012.
