  • 23rd July 2010
  • The Solicitors Regulation Authority has frozen the minimum salary levels for trainee solicitors for this year because of the economic conditions.

  • Each year the SRA stipulates the minimum salary and this week it announced the salary levels for 2010/11 are to remain the same as the previous year.

For central London the minimum salary remains at £18,590 with a recommended salary of £19,040.  Elsewhere in England and Wales the minimum salary is set at £16,650 with a recommended salary is £16,940.
