Trainee retention up 10%

According to Legalweek retention rates at the top 30 law firms is up 10% on the same period last year.
This time last year the average retention rates stood at 75% and just twleve months later these figures have leapt to 84% amongst the top 30 law firms. The evidence suggests that things are looking up in the legal sector.
Paul Harris, the co-founder of AllAboutLaw.co.uk said, "It's good to see an improvement in the latest retention figures and seems to reflect a generally positive mood amongst legal recrutiers in the City".
