Trainee paddles across Lake Garda
- 19th May 2010
A trainee solicitor joined two friends in a bright red inflatable bouncy castle to paddle across Italy’s Lake Garda, with the occasional help of the wind - and a police escort.
During the stunt, trainee Jack Watkins and his friends realised that they had in fact gate crashed an international sailing regatta. The trio’s bizarre journey, the result of a childhood dream, also involved one of them dressing up as a shark.
The friends completed the five mile trip in two hours after winning the chance to take part in a documentary about dream trips. The trip was made a reality by carmaker Honda's Live Every Litre project. Honda funded the documentary which follows ordinary people planning and executing dream journeys.
