Summer schools increase chances of a top university place

The Sutton Trust, an educational charity, have been running a number of summer schools at top class universities and recent research suggests attending one of these school significantly improves your chance of getting an offer at such as institiution.
The report released by the Sutton Trust revleas that 23% of those who attended the summer schools were offered placed and went onto study at the same location as their summer school; this is compared with just 7% of students who did not apply for a summer school place.
The summer schools are available at Bristol, Cambridge, Oxford, Nottingham, Durham, UCL, Imperial and St Andrews.
