  • Swansea University have been awarded a lottery grant to explore the issue of student sex workers in Wales. 

  • The BBC reported that almost £500,000 of Lottery funding has been awarded to provide an in depth study as current evidence is based on anecdotal stories.

    Dr Tracey Sagar, a lecturer who specialised in the regulation of sex work said, "At the moment we know we a student sex community in Wales but we not really understand their motivation and needs... This project will address this knowledge gap and develop services which are fit for purpose".
