Slaughter & May graduate literature award
- 09th July 2010
Leading international law firm Slaughter & May has this week won an award in the 2010 Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) Awards at its annual conference in Wales.
The firm won Best Literature award and was praised by the judges for producing in-depth and clear content as well as a graduate ‘day in the life’ feature.
Graham White, who has overall responsibly for graduate recruitment at Slaughter & May, says: “We wanted to produce something that we felt would dispel some of the common misconceptions that graduates have [for example, that unless you have first from Oxford you wouldn’t stand a chance]. We also wanted a bolder use of colour and imagery.” White says the literature works in tandem with the firm’s careers section on the website and it has so far received a very good response.
The AGR Awards are now in their 32nd year, and recognise and reward graduate recruiters for creative and innovative campaigns that attract the best graduate talent to their organisations. They are designed to highlight best practice in terms of graduate recruitment and to ensure standards within the industry remain high.
