  • Promising law student dies

  • 15th December 2010
  • A promising law student who dreamt of becoming a corporate lawyer in the US has died after an undiagnosed illness.

  • Jodie Mills, who was studying at Nottingham University, died four days before her 19th birthday after she began losing weight in the summer.  Although she was having medical tests, she has died from pneumonia weeks after having to drop her studies through ill health.

Jodie, who scored three A* grades in her A-levels, begged her parents to find a doctor who could get to the bottom of her illness in time for Christmas.
