Pannone is best law firm employer
- 04th March 2010
Manchester law firm Pannone has attained the enviable position of being the top legal employer in this year’s Sunday Times top 100 Employers, coming in at number 3 in the rankings. Staff said their stress levels were low and had achieved a good work/life balance.
It is the seventh consecutive year Pannone has been rated in the top 20 employers. Andrea Cohen, Training Partner, Pannone LLP told All About Law: “Our position in the survey is undoubtedly a real bonus in our efforts to recruit the top legal talent in the UK. 95% of our 1200 applicants per year for Training Contracts make reference to the survey as a reason for wishing to apply to Pannone."
“We compete with major London firms to attract the best graduates and our Sunday Times Top 100 rating as the best law firm to work for is a definite attraction for both graduates and newly qualified solicitors, who want to further their career with a firm where they know their efforts will be appreciated and where they will experience excellent work/life balance.”
Seven law firms are ranked this year including Lewis Silkin, Michcon de Reya, Mills & Reeve and Freeth Cartwright. A newly ranked firm is Cripps Harris Hall at 97th position.
However, other law firms who have been ranked in previous years fell from the latest rankings including Olswang, CMS Cameron McKenna, Charles Russell and Berwin Leighton Paisner.
