OUP offers 1000 pound memorial grant
- 17th November 2010
Oxford University Press (OUP) is offering a £1000 grant to a law school in the UK to support charitable or pro bono work, or a law clinic – in memory of the late Alistair MacQueen who had an interest in legal education and publishing
The Alistair MacQueen Memorial Grant has been set up by OUP in association with the UK Centre for Legal Education. To be in with a chance of winning the grant for your law school, a proposal of 500 words (or an A4 sized sheet) must be submitted, setting how the grant would be used. This might be for a new initiative or to develop an existing venture, and an outline of who the project will benefit, such as law students or the larger local community.
The deadline for nominations is 30 November. For further information visit www.oxfordtextbooks.co.uk/law/grant
