- 23rd November 2011
The number of law graduates choosing to sign up to the Legal Practice Course, ILEX or Bar Professional Training Course dropped last year according to the Higher Education Careers Services Unit (HESCU).
Their annual survey reported that sign ups to the above courses were down 3.7% on the previous year, suggesting that students are now considering more than ever whether to embark on future training (and the associated debt).
Overall, last year 33.9% of law graduates opted to undergo some form of further study compared to 38.7% for the year before.
