Norton Rose promotes business ethics for trainees
- 12th May 2010
International firm Norton Rose has launched a two-week work experience programme to enable potential trainees to gain an invaluable insight into business ethics in practice.
The programme has been launched in cooperation with Transparency International UK and the Institute of Business Ethics and is set to run for the two weeks from 23rd August at the firm’s headquarters.
Participants will get the chance to work on different corporate integrity initiatives, including research projects for Transparency International UK, and a project to map global legal and regulatory risks with Maplecroft, a global risks advisory firm.
Sam Eastwood of Norton Rose says: “This exciting programme will give students a valuable introduction to a range of organisations involved in promoting the development and implementation of ethical business practices. Ethics is an area of business that is of ever-increasing importance, particularly now with the passing of the Bribery Act.”
The firm is inviting applicants from penultimate and final year undergraduates of both law and non-law disciplines and an interest in business ethics. For more information and to apply online visit www.nortonrose.com/careers. The closing date for applications 31st May 2010.
