  • National Work Experience Campaign Launches

  • 30th March 2011
  • A National Work Experience Campaign has been launched by the social careers website AllAboutCareers.com.

  • The initiative launched across more than 40 campuses and is aimed to highlight the importance for students to gain as much work experience as they can before the end of university. The recent Highfliers report stated that students without any experiences are unlikely or very unlikely to be offered a place on a graduate scheme.

    The campaign has three elements:

    • highlight the very remote chance of getting onto a graduate scheme without any relevant work experience;
    • let students know of the options available;
    • and most importantly to let students know about their rights when they are doing work experience.

    The details of the National Work Experience Campaign can be found here.
