  • LPC student numbers down

  • 03rd December 2010
  • The numbers of students studying full-time on the LPC have gone down by 20 per cent this year, according to LPC Central Applications Board statistics.

  • Figures show that 6,067 students enrolled this year compared to 7,631 last year.

However, just three LPC providers disclosed some of their figures.  The decrease is despite the high-profile expansion of both the College of Law and BPP Law School – neither BPP nor Nottingham Law School would give statistics.

The figures are perhaps the first anecdotal evidence that the economic climate is currently deterring some law students from taking on the cost of the LPC.
