London Legal Walk in May

Law students are among those who will be joining lawyers on the seventh London Legal Walk, a 10km sponsored walk in which both individuals and teams are invited to join.
The Walk is due to take place at 5.30 on 16 May and is to be led by top legal figures including the Lord Chief Justice, the Attorney General and the Master of the Rolls, as well as the Presidents of the Law Society and ILEX and the Chairman of the Bar Council. Teams from more than 50 organisations are already planning to take part include LawWorks, law firms, chambers and law schools.
Last year more 250 teams took part raising £450,000 and this year the organisers are hoping to raise more than £10k for legal advice centres which are desperately trying to increase their sources of financial support in the current economic climate.
