Legal Futures Conference a great success
- 23rd November 2011
The Black Students’ Campaign and The Society of Black Lawyers held their annual national conference last week for ethnic minority law students. The conference provided an opportunity for students to network, share their experiences of the legal profession and to learn more about what opportunities may exist for them in the future.
Held at City University London, over 200 students turned up to learn how to improve their CV, assess their personal strengths and weaknesses as well as learning how to research law firms.
There was an excellent roster of speakers on display also, with Jo Sidhu of the Bar Council, Susan Cooper of Accutrainee and barrister Brian St Louis.
