  • Leeds firm to recruit solely from BPP

  • 01st December 2010
  • All future trainees at Leeds firm John Delaney & Co will be recruited directly from the BPP law school’s LPC cohort under an exclusive agreement.

  • The managing partner at the criminal and family legal aid practice says the firm has been “particularly impressed” by the high standard of BPP law school students.

Tony Murphy says: “It is really important that our trainees receive first-class training early in their careers, and BPP's practical and professional delivery of the Legal Practice Course is the first step in this process.”

Peter Crisp, Dean of BPP Law School, says the firm is an excellent local firm and adds: “The agreement demonstrates our commitment to the legal sector - for all sizes of firms.  Regardless of which career path our students choose, we aim to provide a high quality teaching experience across all our programmes and centres.”

Most of the 25 law firms currently sending their future trainees to study at BPP exclusively are large city or regional firms including Addleshaw Goddard, Bristows and CMS Cameron McKenna.
