Lawyers Work Eight Day Weeks

Forget five days weeks, lawyers and other legal professionals reportedly work the equivalent of an eight day week.
According to a recent survey, Lawyers and other legal professionals work the equivalent of one and half days more than British workers across all professions. The survey by Randstad found that legal professions each do the job of 1.6 people, or the equivalent of three extra working days a week, compared other British workers who say that they do the job of 1.3 people.
The survey also found:
- less than half of legal professionals have been able to take longer than a week off work this year for their main holiday
- nearly one in five say they checked emails or took work calls on holiday
- one in eight sleep poorly become of work worries
-two in five legal professions feels more stressed than they did six months ago.
