LawWorks pro bono student awards open for entries

The LawWorks & Attorney General Student Awards 2011 is now open for nomination for its fifth annual Student Awards.
The Awards, sponsored by LexisNexis, comprises four separate categories including best contribution by an individual student, and best contribution by a team of students; best new pro bono activity since September 2008 and best contribution by a Law School.
LawWorks is a pro bono charity that provides free legal help to individuals and community groups who cannot afford to pay for it and are who can’t access legal aid. The charity also recognises pro bono contributions made within the legal profession. Nominations for awards must be submitted by midnight on Sunday, 30 January 2011. The award ceremony is due to take place on Tuesday, 29 March 2011.
